Ex-Maid Spills Shocking Secrets: “Apostle Chiwenga Used Me, Lied to His Congregation”
A 31-year-old woman who once worked as a maid for controversial preacher Apostle Talent Chiwenga has sensationally claimed she had a year-long sexual relationship with the man of God—only to be left heartbroken after he allegedly broke his promise to marry her.
In a no-holds-barred interview on the Ollah 7 Podcast, Tsitsi Chiyendambuya said she was driven to speak out after Chiwenga publicly declared in church that he had “never dated any woman” from his congregation.
“I never planned to expose this, but when he stood there lying to everyone, I felt I had to speak the truth,” Tsitsi fumed.
Tsitsi revealed she began working for Apostle Chiwenga and his late wife in February 2017. At first, she says, the preacher was “harsh” towards her — until one day he allegedly softened his approach, told her to “loosen up”, and soon after, professed his love.
“He proposed in August 2017. I took two months to say yes. At the time, his wife was pregnant with their second child,” she claimed. “He told me marrying his wife was a mistake and that I shouldn’t worry about their marriage because it wasn’t my business.”
Apostle Chiwenga: Intimacy Behind Closed Doors
The relationship, Tsitsi alleges, became physical while the late wife was still alive.
“The first time we slept together, his wife wasn’t home. Later, he would come to my room in the middle of the night while she was sleeping,” she alleged.
She also claimed Chiwenga would fly her to South Africa, booking her into hotels for one to two weeks.
“So when he lied to the church that he’d never dated anyone there, I was furious. He knows exactly what we did.”
Tsitsi said her breaking point came when Chiwenga allegedly tried to set her up with another man from his church — despite her belief that she would marry him after his wife’s death.
“I loved him, but I felt used. When he suggested I marry someone else, I realised I was never part of his plans,” she confessed.
She warned other women:
“Never date a married man hoping he’ll marry you. I made that mistake.”
Meanwhile, Apostle Chiwenga has been making headlines for his turbulent love life, recently admitting he divorced his wife Vanessa just four days after their wedding — fuelling speculation that his personal life is more dramatic than his sermons.
