Holy Ten’s Fiery Instagram Tirade at Mnangagwa Twins Culminates in Public Apology

On the night of September 7, 2025, Zimbabwean rapper Holy Ten (real name: Mukudzei Chitsama) triggered a digital firestorm with an explosive series of Instagram posts targeting Sean and Collins Mnangagwa, sons of President Emmerson Mnangagwa. What began as cryptic commentary swiftly turned into bold threats, claims of soldier deployments to his residence, and accusations that the twins were reclaiming gifts they had previously bestowed upon him.

Just after 9:00 PM, Holy Ten’s initial post set the tone:

“Sean, Collins, you Collins, you should’ve never given me your gifts if you knew you could take them back.”

This message ignited speculation that he was referring to property or assets tied to the ruling family

By 9:24 PM, he amplified the tone:

“It’s not fear. It’s respect. Zanu-PF,, don’t try me.”

Moments later, he directed a message toward his wife, Kimberly Richards:

“Pack all our things. We’re giving them back their house. Zvekunamata vanhu inini no (I will not bow down and pray to people).”

He emphasisedemphasised his efforts to support the ruling party:

“I’ve been working so HARD to clean up ED’s name, and you people think they can just touch me??? I want my respect!!!”

By 10:25 PM, tensions reached their peak in a video that quickly went viral with nearly 20,000 views within an hour:

“Inini, I can end the Zanu-PF today.”

He specifically targeted Sean, a major in the Zimbabwe National Army:

“Sean, what you did at my house? I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of Zanu-PF, all of you. I’m not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing.”

He mocked Collins’s influence:

“Collins thinks he is loved by the people; let him start a ‘live’ right nnow, andlet’s see how many people join.”

He even asserted knowledge of Collins’s Harare residence:

“I know where Collins lives… We are fixing the ccountry;they shouldn’t mess with me. I’m not Blessed Geza.”

This eruption marked a striking turnaround—from Holy Ten’s earlier support of ZANU-PF during the 2023 elections (including performances at campaign events and statements about improving the party’s public image)—to now seeming to threaten its very existence.

Then, almost abruptly, the posts stopped. After briefly deactivating his Instagram account @holytenmusic—leaving over 200,000 followers in shock—Holy Ten reappeared at 10:53 PM with just four words:

“Apologies to my brothers Sean & Collins.”

The tone shifted from confrontation to conciliation, with no additional context or explanation provided.

So far, the Mnangagwa family has remained silent. Neither Sean nor Collins has publicly responded to Holy Ten’s accusations or apology.

For Zimbabweans, the incident represents one of the most dramatic and public disintegrations of a celebrity–politician relationship in recent memory: an emotional rollercoaster—including cryptic remarks, full-on threats, mass speculation, and a sudden, disarming apology—all played out live on social media in real time
